Khalid

A Game Changer For Middle Eastern Men & Women

In the recent movie “Kick-Ass”, you could see a parallel between the character of Khalid, a normal student who has never gone to war, and the modern day political refugee. So if Khalid can’t find any love in his life, how can he find it in his art? Or he should say, in his memory. It is also interesting to note that one of the reasons why Middle Eastern men are so desperate to get out of their homes and join in the “good fight” is because they feel that by going abroad, they will be able to live their dream.

Well, there is another reason why people get involved in the modern militaries and do not stop at just being part of the army; it is that they have no family or friends there that they can go back to and visit or talk to. In such a situation, the one thing that makes them think that it is worthwhile joining up is the fact that they will be able to fight the enemy side without getting hurt.

People with poor education usually get into the army because of the wrong reason. They often sign up because they want to help their nation and if this mission comes back with them wounded, it becomes their martyrdom. They believe that if they are not fighting for their country, then they are at least able to help it from the shadows.

A good example of this happening is the change in roles of women nowadays. Back then, it was not the same with the men, who are usually the ones that take the most risks. Women would be seen as secondary members in the family unit, who could do anything they please just like how they are doing now.

In the Arab countries, it is common for many citizens to suffer from an identity crisis. So it is very common for young men and women who went through so much trouble to come home in their respective civilian uniforms.

Because of this, people today try to do as much as they can to get out of military service as quickly as possible. The unemployment rate is at its highest level since the time it was legalized in the 1970s. It is only a matter of time before the entire military has to be phased out.

When it comes to politics, however, the citizens are still being controlled by the use-made military force. Despite the fact that they were the one who brought the country into war, they still have no say in the things that will be done with the country after it is done.

This is due to the fact that the leaders of all political parties are still tied up with the military and other ruling organizations. There is no way that they can be trusted with the country’s future. In such a scenario, young Arab men and women are not even sure if they want to stay in their homeland, or if they want to stay abroad and fight for the country.
