It’s rare to encounter a technology mastermind who also actively works to advance education and opportunities for the next generation.

But this is exactly what Divya Pratap cares about and does on a daily basis.

Divya Pratap is a research and development supply chain technologist at Intel as a Hardware Product System Integrator. His work includes developing new technology ecosystems according to the requirements of next-generation products, and bench-marking emerging technology in the industry.

Divya explains his work:

“Fundamentally, the system integrator integrates discrete systems leveraging networking, application integration, a business process, and so on, in conjunction with Artificial Intelligence. Cloud Integration products provide infrastructure to ensure new applications are utilized for operational efficiency with an Increased competitive edge. Optics and optical technology integration plays a key role that will help the industry to enable accelerated adoption of Cloud solutions. This includes storage, network, compute, memory and accelerators. Each individual is a sub-industry and bringing all of these together in a cohesive manner with Cloud computing will lead technology into the boundless and undiscovered territory of applications.”

An accomplished problem solver, Divya has developed the technology for three patents. His first patent focuses on a method for testing integrated circuits, and integrated circuits configured to facilitate performing. His second patent focuses on signal error compensation for a magnetometer in a sensor package. His third patent focuses on systems and methods for evaluating a capacitive interface.

Growing up in a small-town countryside village where books were given on a sharing basis, Divya has watched as his world has changed to embrace more technology. Today he helps equip organizations with laptops for educational purposes as a part of his greater passion for advancing education.

Divya has seen a wide landscape of technology transition as a researcher and advocate for education. Being a part of multiple technology consortiums and serving as an active K-12 volunteer motivating students toward STEM education (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), technology has become a lifelong passion for Divya.

“Failures & success happen for a reason. Choose to appreciate failure and learn from your success,” he encourages.
