Khalid

Arabian Nights Online

In this Arabian Nights, Khalid stands against the caliph, Muhammad. Khalid and the Muslims have captured Mecca and are moving on to Medina. If you are not following the adventure of the Arabian Nights online you will be lost in a sea of web pages full of mummies, lions, swords, and Arabian Nights. So this is a perfect time to get started.

The Caliph wants Khalid to find out why the Muslims are so loyal to Muhammad? The Caliph has the head of a bearded man, both wearing iron crowns and clothes. Now this is strange, since they both live in the same city. But with the Caliph being an Arab he would have no knowledge of the north. So why would he trust Khalid to find out what the Muslims’ loyalty is.

Khawarim offers the Caliph a ride and tells him that the men he fought with at Al-Hijra would not believe the Caliph if he was not a Muslim. So, when the Caliph mentions that the people at Al-Hijra are not Muslims then Khalid turns and fights the Caliph, now it is only a myth because Al-Hijra did not exist.

The Caliph asks Khalid to explain the truth and tells him that he will show him proof by means of the stick he uses to fight. Khalid offers proof that it was with a piece of wood, the Prophet gave him and Khalid used the stick to dig holes that he threw men through, and the Caliph dies.

When the Caliph is dead the Caliph’s wife, the queen asks Khawarim to tell her husband that he should use this knowledge to kill Muhammad. When Khawarim says that he had just told the truth. He is not sure how to go about telling the truth because the Caliph is still alive and has ordered Khalid to kill him. That is when Khawarim steps in and offers to help the Caliph to kill Muhammad.

And so it comes to pass that the Caliph and Khawarim become best friends. The Caliph gets back the head of Muhammad that Khalid cut off, he decides to make up for it by taking Khalid back to the head of Muhammad to give him the head. Khalid offers him a piece of the man’s skull to prove his loyalty. The Caliph takes the head of Muhammad from Khalid and places it on his throne, where it belongs.

The Caliph takes Khalid back to the place where Muhammad lived and gives him a sword to help with his work. So Khalid goes to Mecca and once there takes the head of Muhammad to fight with Muhammad for the Caliph’s head. He holds the head of Muhammad before him and asks the Caliph if he will hand over the head of Muhammad. The Caliph refuses and kills Khalid with the sword and takes his head. This is the end of the story in the Arabian Nights, as they say.
