Super Bowl 2020 – Redskins Vs Rams
The Super Bowl is the most watched sporting event in the world, but to the fans it doesn’t mean much if there is no football. To get them more excited about watching the game there are fan traditions. Each team has their own traditions, that they take part in and enjoy.
The Washington Redskins have their very own tradition. The Redskins were not even a team at the beginning of the Super Bowl in the early 70’s. They were known as the Washington Federals and they had to leave the league before the Super Bowl came around. With this in mind the fans really wanted their favorite team to be a part of the Super Bowl.
So, they made sure they got the Redskins into the Super Bowl, not quite sure of what to expect. They had to go through a lot of things to make it happen including a lot of rumors and speculation. One thing that they did not think was too likely would be the team making it to the Super Bowl. They thought it was unlikely because the NFL wanted the Dallas Cowboys to win it all and so the Redskins couldn’t.
The Redskins fans stayed up all night doing everything possible to make it to the Super Bowl. They talked about the tradition of having to make it through the entire game in one piece. They did that by holding strong during the first half and then going on a run during the second half. Then they went back to work during the third quarter.
As it turned out, it was great timing that pushed the Redskins over the top to make it to the Super Bowl and give the fans what they want. The late game running helped the Redskins put on the win and the crowd just erupted. It was a great celebration for the team and the fans. It made it all worth it.
The St. Louis Rams fans aren’t quite as lucky. The Rams haven’t been to the Super Bowl since 1982 and the fans are sick of not making it there. The stadium problem in St. Louis is very bad right now, and so far it hasn’t been fixed. However, the fans aren’t throwing their support behind the team until they see it on television. There have been rumors floating around the Internet that they are dropping their support until the stadium problems are solved.
The Rams fans hope they get their Super Bowl and they wish the luck in the next round. If they win it all they can move and become the Washington Redskins fans new favorite team. Since the Colts did not make it they can join the Rams in their ranks.
If you were hoping to go to the Super Bowl this year there is a good chance you will be happy with the results. The Redskins vs. Rams is one of the best rivalries there is and fans can’t wait to see who will make it to the big game this year. I think the one that makes it to the final will be the Seattle Seahawks because of their record this year.
