Hottest Shows of 2020

What Will Be the Hottest Shows of 2020?

Here are the hottest shows of 2020. Some are already taken and others will be dropped in the future. Hopefully you take the latter and enjoy the great television that you have already enjoyed today.

As we approach the beginning of the 21st century, the newest shows of the year will include the latest from NBC, namely Chicago Fire, Dateline NBC, The Blacklist, New Girl, The Player, Suburgatory, Undercover Boss, You, Me and the Apocalypse and others. Will NBC get back on track? Or is there more for the network to fall back on?

With more shows than ever around, ABC has taken its lead in terms of quality and the number of programs to deliver. What is in store for this year? Expect great series like Black-ish, Once Upon a Time, Dr. Ken, the Modern Family Movie, Revenge, Trophy Wife, the new Marvel movie, Dr. Ken, Galavant, and others.

NBC is still holding the number one spot though and that’s with its great offerings such as Las Vegas, The Mysteries of Laura, a new series from Constantine, Chicago Fire, Powerless, Law & Order: SVU, the new Timeless TV show and others. With so many great shows to choose from, the opportunity to watch them all will only increase in the coming years. It is really a good time to be a fan of television.

Popular and not so popular shows of the year for the internet include: Tig Notaro’s Parse Gray, Who Do You Think You Are, Silicon Valley, You, Me and the Apocalypse, I Love Dick, Dream Team, what’s your fave party and others. Perhaps you will get to know some of these people better or perhaps not. Most of these series will continue to be on the air as long as people are watching.

The romantic comedy from American Horror Story, Orphan Black, continues to be a hit, bringing the series up to sixth place. The show has been picked up for two more seasons and has the potential to go beyond that. These great shows can be watched on Netflix and Hulu Plus if you don’t want to wait for new episodes each month.

This year was not only about the hottest shows of the year, but also some of the best television of the past decade. The most successful shows were all truly excellent and will continue to be favorites for many years to come. Bravo’s Emmy award winning Real Housewives of New York City continues to be a big hit and will likely be the recipient of another award in the coming years.

After seeing their careers skyrocket, some of the celebrities fell back into the spotlight after leaving the popular shows to pursue other ventures and areas of interest. You can bet that the TV actors who became celebrities after their success on television won’t be letting go anytime soon. The reality series You, Me and the Apocalypse, Reba McEntire, The Bachelor, Project Runway, and others are still running strong and keeping people entertained for years to come.
