You’ll find many people writing about Billie Eilish but what they’re writing about is missing the point. Her book, “A Single Coat: A Memoir of Love and Marriage” is a love story – with just the right amount of strength, humor, and heart to make you feel anything but sorry for her. Her book was named one of the Best Books of 2020 by Oprah Winfrey, Time Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and many other publications. In short, it has been a huge success.

Billie Eilish

When Billie Eilish came to me for help writing this best seller, I could sense that she was having trouble in her relationship with her husband, Mikey. She was losing interest in the sex they were having and was feeling insecure about his behavior. She had started to become depressed, and was on medication for her bipolar disorder.

During the course of our sessions, Billie Eilish shared with me her feelings about her health, marriage, and the difficulty she was having in her marriage. After two months of working on this book, we felt we had what it took to bring this valuable story to a new audience. It is obvious from reading this memoir that Billie Eilish and Mikey are living their lives as best they can, but they still want to be more.

As a professional writer, I know the challenges involved in writing a book like this, but I was very impressed with the way Billie Eilish wrote. This book is filled with true stories that make it interesting, entertaining, and even touching.

The book’s narrative flows easily and moves quickly. I was able to absorb the stories that were being told in just a few days of reading, and I was glad I was able to get this information in a short amount of time. My favorite part of the book was when Billie Eilish shared with me the true story about her husband’s childhood abuse. It’s so painful and shocking to read the details about Mikey’s childhood, but it makes you realize, “You’re only as old as you feel.” You never think that you will forget a painful experience from your past. But in reading about Mikey’s childhood abuse, you realize how important it is to not repeat such an experience in your own life.

One of the book’s inspiration was a TV show called “What’s Your Sign?” Billie Eilish was thinking about all the signs she knows that she needs to have in order to succeed in life. She made it a theme of the book and is sharing all of her ideas and truths about life.

Billie Eilish shared with me, “I am in love with myself. I don’t want to be in love with anyone else.” She wants to inspire other women to always love themselves, so they don’t have to worry about falling into the relationship trap that most women seem to fall into after their marriage.
