What is Priyank Chopra’s Philosophy of Mysticism?

Priyank Chopra has been one of the most popular and most sought after authors in the field of metaphysical studies. It is said that he is the only author who has turned himself into an atheist. He has made a practice of reading every day and his books on various subjects are almost always in print. His writing style is conversational and has the same style of writing that he uses while giving lectures at universities.

He writes philosophical articles, and also short books on various topics like personal development, spirituality, the universe, psychology, religion, philosophy, and other philosophical articles. But his writing on spirituality in particular is his masterpiece.

The work of Priyank Chopra is divided into several parts. The first part, ‘The Yoga Of The Soul’, is about understanding the Mystic World, and why it is not the mundane world we see in books. He shows how the common perception of the world has been distorted by modern science.

After this, he discusses ‘The Consciousness Of The Soul’. In this part, he talks about how the states of consciousness are governed by your physical consciousness. He shows how science can modify the concepts of individual states, and we can use our senses to enter the mental states of others.

In the next part, called ‘Shiva, Brahman, And The Mysteries Of The Mystic World’, he talks about the connection between the soul and the other worlds, as well as the link between mysticism and philosophy. There is a good section in this part where he talks about the mysticism in Hinduism, as we have not yet been able to get rid of the scientific indoctrination in the West. The part ends with a discussion on meditation.

The last part of his book, called ‘Transforming The MysticismIn The Mirror Of The Mind’, deals with the misunderstanding between the meaning of mysticism and the meaning of spirituality. He talks about the relationship between mysticism and the mystic. In this part, he argues that mysticism is not just a matter of words but has deep spiritual roots, which can be discerned only through meditation. This is a very important section and is worthy of further discussion.

These sections are all available in the full text of the book. You can easily download it from his website. It is amazing to note that every part of his book has been translated into English, Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, and Malayalam. The other books he has written have not been translated into any of these languages.
