Business casual attire has come a long way in the last decade, and the style is slowly becoming more popular. Starting with the corporate suits of the 70s, business casual clothing has become more sophisticated and widely used by many people today. It is worn primarily in offices, but it is also increasingly being worn in many other environments. The basic principles of business casual have been around for some time, but it is only in the last decade that they have become common in the workplace.

At its core, business casual clothing is simply an extension of one’s casual use of clothes. One important aspect of this is that one is typically wearing something that is not quite as formal as he or she would wear at home. Clothes that can be classified as business casual are those that are often worn at work, but are often worn in an informal setting. In particular, a business casual shirt is informal, although it may still be crisp, clean, and tailored. Of course, all of this depends on the company and the employer, so you should definitely consult your dress code before you wear anything.

As far as what to wear to the office, you will have two basic options. The first option is to dress to the occasion: short-sleeved shirts and shorts, although wearing pants is OK as well. The second option is to wear the same clothing that you wear at home: business casual button-down shirts, khakis, and slacks, although dressing down is acceptable as well.

When selecting casual apparel, think about how it would fit with your appearance. For example, if you want to look smart, but still casual, you may want to try out a white shirt and black jeans. If you want to appear professional, then a white shirt and slacks are probably best.

Collared shirts are particularly effective for people who have their hair cropped short, as long-length blazers often make it difficult to wear them without looking overly formal. Men who are of shorter stature, or who have a tendency to look like they are suffering from tunnel vision, can use collared shirts instead. They are also very good for those who want to be less formal. The collar is not as big as it would be in a regular blazer and does not seem overly formal.

For the more formal of us, business casual attire comes in a variety of fabrics. The most commonly used materials are denim, which lends itself well to work wear, and wool, which is lightweight and looks very smart. Even though there are a lot of companies that make uniforms specifically for business use, cotton is the most popular material. It is soft and comfortable, and the loose fit makes it easy to make sure you stay within your work attire.

There are a few rules of thumb when it comes to how to wear business casual. First, stay away from bright colors and patterns. You don’t want to take away from the formal look that you are trying to achieve. Instead, make sure that you coordinate it with your clothes and the environment in which you are trying to create an impact.

Finally, always keep your attitude and behavior in mind when you are choosing your casual wardrobe. This is something that can make or break the impression that you give, so you want to be sure that you are fully aware of your sense of style and presentation.
