How to Make a Children’s Bookwork Come Alive with Khalid
Khalid, Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves are a gripping tale about the soul of Islam and how it came to be taught by Rasulullah (pbuh). Khalid is a pious person who obtains blessings for his religious study from Rasulullah (pbuh) that he may better understand the significance of faith.
Khalid’s beliefs are that there is a God but Rasulullah (pbuh) do not tell him this. Khalid thinks that the entire world was created by God and the all has to do is obey him. This causes his desire to know more about the creation and for him to ask more questions.
When you are born into a house that has God in it, you are given certain days to fulfill your prayers. If you are not aware of this and you are to be born in a house where there is no God then you should start praying for that purpose. So as a child, you should always learn how to pray. This is one thing that should be practiced all through your life.
Children are so innocent that they do not know what is going on. They should be informed about their surroundings and what happens to the people around them.
A good home for kids will teach them to pray like Khalid. This will also make them learn about social situations. They should be exposed to their Muslim neighbours who will expose them to the other people in the community who are free from such sins. This is very important in building up a solid character for all Muslims.
A child can never know how true Islam is if he only listens to one story or if he only has one teacher who talks about the true meanings of Islam. If you expose him to so many other people, including his teachers, then he will have to learn the different ways of doing things.
This will create a work ethic among his brothers and sisters. When he sees them doing good deeds, then he would be tempted to do good deeds too. This means he will develop self-confidence and the others will not say that he is an impostor. He would start to believe in his religion and he will become a very good Muslim.
