Super Bowl 2020

Is Indianapolis’ Choice to Host the Super Bowl About to Change?

The Super Bowl 2020 has officially been announced. Unfortunately, the game will be held in London instead of Indianapolis, as expected. Although this is not really a big deal to Indianapolis’ business community, it could impact their plans for hosting the NFL football game. They may end up switching the game to another city with more business interest.

As soon as the Super Bowl was announced, the mayor of Indianapolis indicated that he would consider moving the game to his city. This would mean more revenue for the city, but it may cost them. If they go to London, there would likely be several hotels and other venues that could be costly for the city.

In terms of hosting the Super Bowl, there are plenty of factors to consider when planning the right event. To host the game in London will be a major step for the city. It will help expand the business district, but it also will put them at a disadvantage when other cities come calling.

The Super Bowl has been held in the United States for a long time. When Indianapolis was chosen as the host city, they were set to host the game for the first time. If Indianapolis is going to host it again, they will have to consider different plans to maximize their business opportunities.

Indianapolis is already thinking about ways to improve its infrastructure, including water supplies, roads, bridges, trains, and airports. With the popularity of the game on the rise, the public transportation system in the city will need to be upgraded. If Indianapolis is to host the game again, the city will need to invest heavily in planning for future events.

Once the game is over, Indianapolis will have to figure out how to effectively take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity. It would not be a bad idea to focus on the existing assets to make sure the city can use the Super Bowl to its full potential. One of the biggest issues the city must consider is the increasing cost of living.

Whether or not the Super Bowl comes to Indianapolis is up to Mayor Joe Hogsett. Even if he cannot change the choice to London, he can work to find a new one. Indianapolis has a lot to offer, but a trip to London is something no city should miss. They just might get lucky and land the game that they need to expand their business, a prestigious event for their city.
