Paris attack near Eiffel Tower leaves one dead and two injuredon December 3, 2023 at 1:55 am

One person has died and another has been injured in an attack on a street in central Paris.

France’s Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin said an assailant had attacked “passers-by” in the Quai de Grenelle area.

He added that the attacker had been arrested and the injured person was being treated by emergency services.

He asked people to avoid the area.
