We all love science, in fact most of us have learned to love it. In some ways it seems the harder a task is to solve, the more a person loves science. Not all science problems can be solved by a brilliant scientist but there are plenty of other ways to try and solve a problem.

When you’re starting a science fair project, it’s probably a good idea to take a look at science through different kinds of lenses. For example, you could look at what really makes the body function well and then have a look at other ways to improve things. The effects of something like our diet can often be reduced with regular exercise and a healthy diet. But are those things enough to make a difference?

It’s easy to be tempted to try and solve every problem using science. But you should be cautious about it. A lot of problems have been known for centuries, and science has been around for thousands of years. It’s a long way from where we started and so much of the explanation is already clear.

It might be a good idea to have a look at what’s going on in the world today and see if there are any science fair projects you can use as part of your project. This could be as simple as checking on the way that countries are improving their water supplies or trying to explain the differences between the way that people and animals are affected by climate change. You might also want to see if you can investigate the genetic side of genetics to see whether that’s a key factor in how we humans evolve. Science is only ever going to become more important as society changes and new questions start being asked.

So, what kinds of things are out there that you can investigate to answer questions of the human condition? There are lots of different kinds of experiments that could be done but for example try to do something like check out how our bodies respond to changing seasons by doing a whole series of experiments.

This could include different ways of making sure that we keep our organs and tissues fresh and immune to disease. Of course, these are just simple ideas, the real test will be to do this work up in smaller studies over a period of time.

Science can be quite an enjoyable and interesting subject for a science fair project. It’s not always the tough one but it does require a bit of bravery and hard work to get it right.
