A man, a woman and their dog have died after being hit by a car while out for a walk, police have said.

Kent Police said a black BMW X5 was involved in the collision at about 13:40 GMT on Saturday in Thurnham Lane, Bearsted.

Both pedestrians, who were in their 60s, and the dog, died at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, has information or dashcam footage prior to, or at the time of the collision, is urged to come forward.
