Manchester City will face Fiorentina and Chelsea will play Atletico Madrid in the last 16 of the Women’s Champions League.

Chelsea Women beat Benfica in Champions League last 32

Both Women’s Super League clubs will play the first leg of their ties at home in early March, before the away return legs a week later.

Atletico, who have knocked Man City out in the past two seasons, will face WSL champions and current leaders Chelsea.

Holders Lyon have been drawn against Danish club Brondby.

Chelsea were last at this stage two seasons ago when they went on to reach the semi-finals before being knocked out by eventual winners Lyon.

England internationals Toni Duggan and Jade Moore could feature for Atletico, who comprehensively beat Swiss club Servette 9-2 on aggregate in the last round.

City’s opponents Fiorentina will be bidding to reach the quarter-finals for the first time, while Gareth Taylor’s side will hope to progress further than they did in last season’s competition.

Last year’s runners-up Wolfsburg will play Norwegian club LSK Kvinner, while last-16 debutants St Polten, from Austria, will take on Swedish club Rosengard.

The two-legged ties will be played on 3-4 and 10-11 March.
