Crowds gather on a bridge to welcome the train as families reunite after months apart.

The rail link between Ukraine’s capital and the recently liberated city of Kherson has been re-established, with the first train between the two rolling in on Saturday morning.

Families reunited on the platform, as crowds shouted “glory to Ukraine”.
