The first minister said she had been identified as a close contact of someone who had tested positive for Covid-19.

Is she gets a positive result, she’ll have to stay at home for longer and will be unable to attend parliament in person, where she hopes to make a statement on the sharp spike in Covid cases on Wednesday.
