A two-year-old girl has died after she was hit by a car at a holiday park.

Cambridgeshire Police said Isabella Tucker, from London, was struck at Horsley Hale Farm, near Littleport, at 18:45 BST on 25 August.

Isabella died of her injuries at hospital in King’s Lynn, Norfolk. Her mother, Vaida Sprainyte, paid tribute to a “beautiful daughter”.

A 42-year-old woman, from Leeds, arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, has been bailed.

Ms Sprainyte said in a statement, released through police: “A beautiful daughter and little sister. It’s so easy to love you. Loved you from first sight and will love you forever.”

Tree planting

Horsley Hale Farm’s owner and managing director, Stuart Hatton, said his team was “absolutely heartbroken” and that Isabella’s family was in “all our thoughts and prayers”.

He said: “We would like to pay special tribute to the team of staff working that evening who could not have done more to deal with what was a terribly difficult situation.

“We would also like to thank those medically trained guests staying with us who administered emergency first aid, allowing the Horsley Hale Farm team to look after family members, other guests and effectively get the emergency services on site as soon as possible.”

Mr Hatton added that “in partnership with guests” who were staying there at the time, the business had set up a fund for people to buy and plant a tree in Isabella’s memory.

According to its website, Horsley Hale Farm specialises in “glamping” experiences on its six acres of fields, gardens, woodland and a lake.

It offers experiences including wild swimming, alpaca feeding, boating and den building.
