Two men and a 17-year-old girl have been jailed for life for the murder of a man in a city centre park.

Psychiatrist Dr Gary Jenkins, 54, died 16 days after he was attacked in Cardiff’s Bute Park on 20 July 2021.

Jason Edwards, 25 and Lee William Strickland, 36, will both serve a minimum of 33 years.

Dionne Timms-Williams, who was 16 at the time of the crime, will serve a minimum of 18 years.

The three were also sentenced for robbery and assault – ten years each for Strickland and Edwards and four years for assault, to run concurrently.

Timms-Williams was sentenced to five years in prison, to run concurrently, for robbery.
