What better way to add value to a person’s life than to infect them with health and happiness? One person who knows a lot about that is Priyanka Jariwala, PT, MS. “Helping others is central to who I am. It is what I do. It is what I believe in. It is what I stand for,” she says.

Priyanka is a physical therapist who focuses on the rehabilitation of orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and post-surgical conditions. “What I do is simple: If you are down, I get you back on your feet. When you get up, I will keep you up and running.”

Priyanka leaves a lasting impression on her clients; one of them, Brittany, had this to say about her: “Priyanka definitely helped me. I honestly thought I would not stop limping after I sprained my ankle and many times before. But Priyanka gave me the right exercises and pushed me. Now, I am back to normal.”

Another client, Sam, shared a similar testimony: “Priyanka is awesome and provides the highest level of service! I started physical therapy in horrible pain with little mobility and now feel tremendously better. I am able to take long walks and even ride my bike now. Thank you, Priyanka!”

Priyanka practices at Performance Rehabilitation, a physical therapy clinic based in Yonkers, New York. The clinic provides a wide range of therapeutic services to clients. Perhaps their main attribute is the fact that they do not have a waiting list. They schedule patients within 1 to 3 days of booking in order to avoid overcrowding.

With Priyanka’s help, Performance Rehabilitation is making a real impact and earning widespread recognition. In 2021, the clinic was named the Best Physical Therapy Clinic In Yonkers by Expertise.com.

“I am not slowing down anytime soon,” she reveals. “If people need a hand, I will be there to lend it. I was raised with the belief that good begets good. While I am not one for cliches, my instinct is to be the difference I want to see in the world.”

Priyanka’s colleagues have described her as motivated, client-focused, and caring. That explains why she earned a spot on ThreeBestRated’s list of Top 3 Physical Therapists in Yonkers. “Honestly, I felt honored and humbled to make that list,” she remembers. ”I will always give this job my 100%. I feel my clients deserve that much.”

On the significance of the physical therapy industry, Priyanka believes it has a lot to offer society. “I feel it is an important part of healthcare. I think physical therapists, in general, play a huge role in the daily lives of their patients. That is why I am eager to participate in more education programs to promote the profession and share the importance of the work that we do. I would also like to be a part of an outreach program to spread awareness about common conditions which can benefit from a successful physical therapy rehabilitation.”

Priyanka believes staying focused and dedicated is the surest way to success. She feels that people need to be accountable to themselves. “If you want to succeed, you need to shut out the noise and focus on what is ahead of you. Fight the distractions and stay the course. You need to be your biggest cheerleader. It is the only way you are going to succeed.
