Charlie Pallet has raised money for Help for Heroes with a recording of a wartime song.

One-hundred-year-old Charlie Pallet has raised thousands for Help for Heroes with his cover of the wartime song Keep Right on to the End of the Road.

The World War Two veteran had the initial goal of raising £1,000 for the charity.

He spoke to BBC Breakfast’s Dan Walker and Louise Minchin.
