A DIY Sugar Wax for your Stay-at-Home Hair Situations

As we wait for beauty salons and waxing centers to soon re-open, we must take matters into our own hands.  Until then, here is a DIY sugar wax to exfoliate the skin, to remove the hairs, and to assist with those hair situations!

Before you attempt this wax, remember to be patient with yourself and your skin!

Ingredients and supplies:

½ cup of sugar

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

2 tablespoons of water

A melting pot

Small jar container

Spoon

Method:

Mix ingredients together in a steel pot. Cook using Medium high heat until notice the mixture starting to bubble. Keep stirring for a couple of minutes and then remove from heat. Continue stirring to assist with cooling off method. Wax may still be hot but now scoop and use water to insulate your hands while kneading the wax. Kneed the wax until the translucent golden color turns opaque. Finally store the wax into a container and use when necessary.
