Meet The Reasons: A Pennsylvania Band Focused on EDM and Hip HOP
With the current music culture focused on EDM and Hip Hop, the famous genre of Rock and Roll seems to be making a comeback as of last year. A few reasons being newer releases from your A-listers, rock music festivals growing in size, guitar sales being up, and the emergence of a new generation of talented artists. Since Rock is known to have peaked in the 80s, it’s unusually but pleasantly surprising to see classics being played on radio and even more surprising that teens and people in their twenties getting into it.
Speaking of younger artists, The Reasons, is a Pennsylvania based band that writes its own original music and records while being genre agnostic.
The band is managed and produced by Grammy award winner, Bob Cutarella. He has made a name for himself by working with artists such as Micheal Jackson, Eric Clapton, and the Police. Together, this team has worked to climb the ladder of success and has got The Reasons debut single, “Compromise”, to over 1.5 million streams. They have also built a strong fan base of over 100,000 followers and counting.
However, it didn’t all start here. The band did not start off with this fan base as well as these accolades. In the very early days before the boys became New York recording artists, Ryan, Liam, Zach, and Nolan worked to develop their initial sound. They went as far as recording home demos which they gave out at early shows of theirs. Since then, they have experimented and incorporated many genres into their sound. Some of which being Rock, Pop, Alternative, R&B, and indie.
On top of recording, The Reasons play live constantly. These shows include local festivals, clubs, eateries, weddings, and many more. These shows are a great way to catch The Reasons showcase some of their original material as well as some of their favorite songs from their favorite influences. Some of these influences include bands such as The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Nirvana, Cage The Elephant, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, and Justin Bieber. With a close family member of the band living next to Justin Bieber, this has led to some of these artists praising them for their work.
Time is of the essence as it would be very fair to say this group of guys have been quite busy. Spending hours and hours on recording and rehearsing, they have already accomplished what not many bands have and they still manage to keep growing by staying hungry and continue to collectively pursue their dreams. With their team and fans backing them, there’s no limit to what they can do as they grow day by day, week by week, and year by year.
