Getting Your Timeshare Out Of The Way For Super Bowl 2020
The date for the next Super Bowl is Super Bowl 2020, which will be held in New Orleans. If you’re looking to make some extra money by getting out of town, this might be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
Sure, it’s a little bit of a reach. It’s not like there’s going to be a ton of business in New Orleans for a week or two after the game. But what you can do is get in your timeshare. Maybe it’s a hotel that’s being built now, and you’re the first room you get in it.
Once you’ve gotten that, you can move onto another hotel. You can also go and hold up a sign on the street saying “Super Bowl 2020: Hold Up!” That would probably bring in some traffic and some business.
And it’s pretty easy to get a timeshare with just a simple application. They will send it to you on CD, and you’ll just print off the form. You don’t have to have any credit history or background checks; you just have to pay for the time at the rate you want.
I know of a few people who are in their fifties, and they have a hotel for ten years now. That’s way too long to be sitting on a bunch of timeshares. If you can sell it for three or four hundred bucks, you can retire a lot faster than you could possibly retire without it.
And since the Super Bowl is all about sports, they’ll be all over the place advertising the games. Sure, you could go and advertise the actual game, but that’s very difficult. Especially if you’re not staying in New Orleans.
You could go to Baton Rouge, or New Orleans, and actually get on TV, on the local news, and actually tell people where they’re going to be able to watch the games. The only thing is, the Super Bowl isn’t like a regular basketball game.
If you show up at a bar, and the bartender doesn’t know who you are, then it might be a problem. But if you come in off the street, and you’re a celebrity, then you’re going to get a table almost anywhere.
