A Dream About a Bear – Are You in a Lucid Dream?
Khalid had been working in the nursing profession for many years. One day he is suddenly called away to his grandmother’s home and finds a dead body. Not wanting to leave his grandmother alone in the house, he investigates and finds that the body has been attacked by a black bear.
After being haunted by the death for a week and seeing the bear for another two weeks Khalid finally gets a lucid dream. In the dream he goes to the park and finds a bear trying to attack a bird. The bear was planning to eat the bird when Khalid intervened.
Khalid finds himself in a place that he doesn’t recognize, but he does recognize that he is in a dream. In the dream he discovers that there is a bear stuck in a tree. He tries to take the bear out of the tree but he has no means of doing so he drops the bear into a river.
Khalid begins to suspect that there might be a connection between the bear and his grandmother and finds that the bear has an incredible name. He also learns that his grandmother, Jasmine, had a strange dream about the bear. Upon searching her mind for the bear, Khalid finds that it is still alive and he has a sense of urgency. He realizes that he must go rescue the bear before it becomes a real bear and he realizes that he has seen the ghost of the bear in his dream.
He tells himself that the bear will not get him killed in his dream. As soon as he gets to the spot where the bear is in the dream, he grabs a rock and throws it into the river. He then gets the idea to drag the water up to the tree with the bear stuck in it and then he uses the rock to break off a piece of the bear’s stomach. He then climbs down the tree and rescues the bear and brings it to the house where his grandmother is now staying. Khalid has discovered that Jasmine has dreams about the bear and that she was having a very disturbing dream. Khalid’s new theory is that if Jasmine really wants to see the bear again that she should travel to the same spot in the dream and throw the rock that he threw in the river. This will cause the bear to appear and this is how Khalid figured out that he was in a dream.
However, Khalid isn’t sure that the bear will make it to his grandmother in the lucid dream. In fact, he wonders how he will know that he is in a dream when the bear appears. This is because he is seeing what he wants to see in his dream.
Khalid realizes that he must find the bear in his lucid dream in order to save Jasmine and win Jasmine back. He decides to find the spot where the bear was in the dream and throw the rock he found into the river. He does find the bear and this is how he discovers that he is in a dream.
