Sports is about developing relationships, becoming charismatic, and taking various personalities and people to conjoin in one, as a team. Social skills are developed as well as the confidence necessary to step out in life and experience new ways to approach things. For Marko Danial, that was precisely what sports were for him when he moved to America. Before doing so, he was not too interested in sports, and with the abrupt move, nobody would guess it would inspire Danial to create a company based on the love he has for sports.
More known as Pharaoic, Marko Danial is a social media influencer and the CEO of Spzrts. Marko Danial has a foreign background, but after moving to the United States, he became accustomed to life here. Danial adjusted his preferences and interests and saw the love for sports and developed it as well. The company is not as quite prominent as the likes of ESPN and Sportscenter, but Danial has futuristic plans of it being so.
Spzrts is a sports media company that is well-reputed for its diverse coverage of sports in an effective manner. The company’s mission statement is well depicted and expressed:
“Every athlete is driven by a passion, fueled by their love for the game. Keeping that in focus, we came up with this great initiative for the athletes to have the satisfaction of choosing nothing less than the best. We fully understand the compassion and efforts you have put before perfecting your game, and will not let anything get in your way!”.
“Back in Egypt, sports weren’t as popular as they are here in the United States. When I moved here, I instantly fell in love with basketball,” Danial said.
He also continued to say that in middle school, he was not as knowledgeable on sports as his friends. Consequently, many picked on him for it, but Danial saw it as a time to learn and develop. He says it “eventually motivated me to start a sports account as a joke on Instagram, which later on changed my life.” Most of the social media influencer’s fanbase and network of followers are through multiple Instagram accounts he manages. But after reaching a level of success, he stepped into a different path, business.
“I was inspired to build my own company since I had a vast social media influence in the sports world.
Being able to create sports content and advertise for other sports brands, I was able to learn what sports fans liked and did not like,” Danial stated.
Danial has an even stronger vision for his company, however.
“I want Spzrts not only to be a company but a movement. I want to inspire athletes to keep going and never give up on their dreams.”
A movement is all about influence. Genuinely having an impact on the population to depict decisions and provide guidance. Danial is a potent symbol of perseverance and determination. He takes his life’s struggles and successes and creates analogies out of them that enable him to create imagery and inspire many. Pharaoic throughout his life alone has been true to “anything is possible” and stresses on people controlling their destiny and route of life. Time and time again, Danial influences others to think similarly.
“Race after race, you start building relationships with the people that have the same mindset as you. You both then become enabled to support and guide each other on the next race and so forth. However, you will also see more competitors, and there will be people who won’t necessarily like you or the path you’re taking, essentially, envious people. If you can, attempt to find ways to put that behind you and focus on proving to others that you can do whatever you believe in and that anything is possible.”
When we asked Pharaoic about connection building and its significance in entrepreneurship as well as life, he said:
“Building those right connections with people is very essential in life. You eventually will learn who those good and bad people are. But that’s how we learn, by making different mistakes. Experiences not only help build up our future, but they also put us in the right path.”
