Super Bowl 2020 News
There are rumors flying everywhere that the Super Bowl is getting cancelled. There is no definitive answer to whether or not this rumor is true, but it is a bit odd that some people feel the need to bring it up so early in the process.
It is important to remember that the Super Bowl has only shown positive news and rumors about its future have been infrequent and to the point. It has made it easier for business and commerce to move on. The teams all have their own web sites as well as their own commercials, without a regular football game the fan base wouldn’t be able to support their favorite teams.
One of the main points of contention seems to be the amount of television advertising that will be run during the Super Bowl. That is something that people love to hear and most people have turned off by commercials. If they were to turn off those television commercials we would have a nice prosperous day, but they would just keep watching. It is a lot like radio ads, some people hate the noise, others just tune them out.
We cannot blame them for wanting to get rid of all the commercials, it is just a fact that it may cause some public relations issues. These commercials can cause people to get in a nasty mood and that can really not be what we want.
The other issue is the cost of the mega-bowl. The television and radio ads are not cheap and the league itself will spend millions of dollars on advertising during the game. Now, these are big ticket items so they have to make sure that they are worth the money.
Having all of these people buying into the Mega-bowl may also be a factor in the cancellation of the game. They will all want to go and enjoy the game together and not have to spend a fortune on a trip. Even with all of the money that is spent for Super Bowl parties there is no guarantee that they will continue to happen in the future.
Maybe the first two games will be canceled, or the bye week may be extended a week, or maybe the NFL will just play another regular season game, but all these things are still up in the air at this point. It is not like these are huge events like a rock concert, but there is still a lot of time between now and Super Bowl 2020 to decide.
Whatever the case the start of the party season in late November is still on. This is when people will be to celebrate and not worrying about the future of the Super Bowl.
