What Oprah Means to America and to the World

Oprah Winfrey is famous for many things. Oprah, a woman of color, has achieved enormous success by remaining true to herself. She has never pretended to be anything else.

In fact, many of her fans of the Oprah Show have said that they feel that the love, joy and happiness are infused within the program. The way that Oprah presents herself to her audience and her words are very important. It tells a lot about who she is and what she is all about.

Oprah was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was so young when her father decided to give up his job as a writer in order to have her sister goes to college and he would continue to write about cars for a living. She was an only child and after school each day her mother took her sister to visit her father at the Fisher Body Plant.

It was there that she first learned about acting. She also learned about the struggles of raising children. The family lived on a small farm and when her mother couldn’t make it in to work because of the war, she had to bring up her three little girls on her own.

In the late sixties and early seventies, Oprah traveled the world doing comedy and acting gigs. She also met her husband and married him. He died in a car accident before they were able to settle down and start a family.

Oprah, ever the “people person”, became a reporter and when her kids were older, she came back to the city of St. Petersburg and opened her own show. She focused on underprivileged children in Florida. She was an advocate for children in school and for the education system.

She wrote about a wide variety of subjects, including sex education, drug and alcohol abuse, education, immigration and criminal justice reform, and numerous other areas. Her work was dedicated to helping others. When she was unable to attend events where she was scheduled to talk, she would hire her own group of volunteers and speakers.

She was passionate about children and wanted to help them overcome their problems so that they could be part of the next generation and even change their country’s future possible venues for the better. Her aim is clear. She will show you how to change the world will change.
