Hottest Shows of 2020

Hot TV Shows of 2020

We’re about to witness one of the most anticipated shows of the year – and it is likely that this year’s hottest television shows will be at the top of the list. It is possible that in this article we are getting ahead of ourselves, so let’s discuss just why this is the case. Although it would be great to announce new shows as soon as we have them, it takes time for them to go from being finished to being on the air, so the good news is that we will at least get a taste of what the contenders are in the new year. For the purposes of this article, I am going to be focusing on the current shows, but we can examine what I think will become the future favorites as well.

So why do we need to wait to get our fill of the hottest shows of the year? Well, the reason is simple: because they haven’t aired yet. While it might be exciting to be able to watch these shows straight away, we want to see them before they go on the air. Yes, you can get a sneak peek of the shows in the springtime, but that doesn’t give us much of a chance to discuss them, or discuss them with our friends and families. In a sense, we have more to discuss while we wait for our favorite shows to go on the air, so let’s start with some of the current hot shows right now.

We’ve all heard about Parks and Recreation, but not everyone knows exactly what it is, or why it is the new show that is hitting the ratings. The premise of the show is based around a group of people who work together at a fictional private agency in Washington, D.C. The main characters in the show are Andy Dwyer, Leslie Knope, Ann Perkins, Ron Swanson, and Chris Traeger. There are many different episodes, and each episode will likely be about a different subject or angle to the shows main cast, which keeps the show fresh and interesting.

Now, when we talk about the hottest shows of the year, it’s impossible to ignore Parenthood. A sitcom about a family in Washington, D.C., this show is a classic, and can easily stand alongside the best of what has come before it. Picking up where the last season left off, this show is about to become a family legend and has already established itself as one of the best shows on television.

We mentioned the new show of the year in the previous paragraph, so it would only make sense to discuss the newest show of the year. This show, though still in development, is the kind of show that has a very high likelihood of becoming a mainstay of the television landscape. The premise of the show is a post-apocalyptic scenario, where a group of soldiers struggle to survive under a constantly changing and increasingly hostile landscape. When it airs, the series promises to be unlike anything viewers have ever seen, and it looks like we are in for a very interesting ride.

While we are talking about new shows, let’s continue on with the first of the new shows currently on the air, Orphan Black. A highly anticipated series, this show is certain to be another winner on its network. This sci-fi/horror/thriller hybrid series brings together an intriguing cast of actors and will probably be one of the more talked about shows of the year. This show is simply amazing, and the pilot episode delivered a lot of hype.

Of course, we have a few other great shows to talk about as well. True Blood is a highly anticipated show for HBO, as is American Horror Story. Both of these shows are guaranteed to be fun and thrilling, and will likely add a big boost to the ratings as well. We haven’t had a whole lot of time to talk about these shows yet, but if you haven’t seen either of them yet, you really should check them out.

Now that we have talked about our options for a little bit, time to get to the bottom of all this and discuss what we really hope to see in the next four years. Now you just have to decide which shows are your favorites!
