Death of Khalid Suri, India

Khalid was found dead in his car in front of his home. Khalid’s car was not his usual one, as there were missing plates and he had probably used the man’s car to go to his work. He was a very friendly person who loved to talk.

On the day when Khalid went out to buy his food from a street stall, he was attacked by two men in a dirty car. Khalid tried to run away but was caught by one of the attackers. Khalid was beaten badly and was left unconscious.

The human rights activists of Delhi had been trying to find out about Khalid. The police had shown signs of incompetence and had failed to do anything about the case. An Indian union leader has promised that he will launch a case against the officials of the police if they do not do something. Meanwhile Khalid’s relatives have started looking for him.

He was born in the town of Harshpur but lived in the city of Delhi, as the family did not have the money to send him to school. At school, he was popular with the other boys who always saw him in the playground playing with his friends. One day, when he was working at the petrol pump, a strange man came and asked him to join him.

He agreed, but when he reached the man’s house, he discovered that the man did not live there but was actually a taxi driver. He was able to get out of the taxi, but he was seen running towards the train station.

Sometime later, he got separated from his friends as they were on their way to the railway station. He thought that he was getting lost but the friend of his who lives in the city of Bahaiya rescued him and took him to his house where he was given food and water.

Sometime later, he met another man called Sudhir Kumar and was taken to his house. As this man was living in the house, he told him that he had been forced to leave his job as his employers had tried to force him to leave. Later, Khalid learnt how to get himself into the train as he was given food and money.

After a few days, Sudhir brought Khalid to a place called Shilpand (near Bahadinj), which is now a new city called Bawana. Khalid saw that the place had lots of stone houses and many roads were not built yet so that he could walk on them easily.
