Is Amazon Prime Right For You?

Did you know that Amazon Prime has been a very successful service? If you are an Amazon Prime member, you will be happy to know that you can have free shipping with most products that you purchase on Amazon.

In order to qualify for Amazon Prime, you will need to have a valid credit card. I always like to use my Costco card because they pay the taxes and shipping is tax deductible. I love the ability to return any unused items within 30 days of purchase or pay shipping fees. I always keep items for my home or office that are not used enough in my garage for next to nothing.

Amazon offers a variety of perks to members. For example, every time you shop on Amazon you will earn points which can be redeemed for vouchers and discounts. You can also earn cash back for shopping on Amazon. If you sign up for their $99 a year membership you will receive a personalized e-mail from Amazon with access to special deals and offers.

The membership fee is usually less than a sandwich and drinks each month. As with any membership, if you don’t need the money you should cancel your membership. The only time that I would recommend it is if you are having trouble getting your payments made. Even then I would cancel your membership because I would rather be paying less for my goods and services than having to use a credit card and pay sales tax.

When you go to check out at Amazon, make sure you have the correct information and your credit card on hand before you place your order. Once your order is completed you will receive a notification of the shipping date.

Amazon Prime is often offered at a reduced price on other vendors. As Amazon continues to grow, it is making its web site more enticing to customers. In the near future, there may be no choice but to shop at Amazon.

One of the great things about Amazon Prime is that when you have enough points you will qualify for other offers that I will explain further in the article. Amazon Prime memberships can also be joined for free. Click here to visit Amazon’s website to learn more about membership.
